Membership itself is free. Individual programmes, camps, and events may have participation fees that vary by centre and activity.
Pre-CHYK is for ages 14–17. CHYK is for ages 18–28. Some centres may have flexibility — check with your local centre.
CHYK welcomes young seekers from all backgrounds. Vedanta is a universal philosophy — its wisdom belongs to all of humanity.
Yes. CHYK has an active online community and remote learning programmes, including virtual events and study opportunities.
You can lead weekly study groups, manage social media, organise youth camps, join community-service projects, or apply for the year-long residential Youth Empowerment Program.
We discuss relevant life topics, study practical spiritual texts, and meditate. It is an interactive, open forum where you can freely question concepts, share modern perspectives, and grow steadily.
Absolutely. Most study groups and workshops are scheduled on weekends or weekday evenings. The programs are flexible and designed to fit a busy student or professional lifestyle.
You can lead slum-education programs, organise blood drives, manage mobile medical clinics, or volunteer onsite at regional branches of CORD, Chinmaya Mission's organisation dedicated to rural development and empowerment.
